    Hi all,

Many thanks for the most recent newsletter. It was lovely to see you all at the Quarterley Meeting this morning. It was very informative as usual.

I hope your fundraiser goes well on friday, i’m sorry that I am unable to make it.

    Best Regards

      Hi Donna

Thank you for contacting us. We try our best and feedback is always welcome from our members both on the website and also to Peter, Editor of “Your Voice” for consideration to include feedback/comments in future editions of “YV” enabling us to engage with those who receive it by post.

Glad you found Wednesdays meeting informative. Wendy Southall supported by Karen Higgins talking about Clinical Commissioning, Patient Engagement Health Service Provision and the importance of involving Patients in the Commissioning Process was really important for our members to know about. As you are aware the big changes come into force on 1st April 2013 when GP practises are legally responsible for holding the “purse strings”

Jackie Jeffrey from Shrewsbury CAB passing on the latest news on DLA to PiP’s which is crucial to many of our members. If you noticed all three speakers were challenged with a number of questions so we are pleased to have given our members the opportunity to ask and question.

Our thanks to all our speakers and to Mears Group-Shropshire Home Services for hosting our meeting.

Our fundraiser went well on Friday night and we hope to be able to report how SDN has benefited very soon. Shame you were not able to join us, you would have enjoyed it.

Kind Regards to all at Headway Shropshire.
