On Saturday 12th December 2020 at 11am, the national charity Soundabout and Midlands Art Centre (MAC) will launch a brand new inclusive choir for children and young people under 25, across the West Midlands.
The virtual choir will focus on ensuring young people with severe and profound learning disabilities are able to share their voice. Its aim is to create a musical community without barriers. The choir is open to people of all abilities, up to the age of 25 years.
From January 2021, the choir will meet and sing together every two weeks via an online video-conferencing platform and aims to also rehearse regularly in person from early 2021.
Soundabout, which uses music to unlock the potential of people with severe and profound learning disabilities, also runs a number of other choirs. If you or someone you know is interested in receiving further information about the choir or are interested in joining the choir please email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit this page and complete your details on the contact form at this link https://www.soundabout.org.uk/inclusive-choir-west-midlands/
