Event description: Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. This year it’s taking place from the 1-12 June 2016 as an extra special celebration.
It is run by NCVO in partnership with Volunteer Development Scotland, Volunteer Now (Northern Ireland) and Wales Council for Voluntary Action.
Over 21 million people volunteer in the UK at least once a year and this contributes an estimated £23.9bn to the UK economy.
Here at Shropshire Disability Network we are all volunteers & appreciate every hour you spend which enables us to be the charity we are.
