Event description: Tan Bank/King Street Masjid have joined in a national initiative led by Muslim Council of Britain called “Visit our Mosque”. The idea behind the day is to encourage dialogue and understanding between communities.
The first event last year was really well attended, with over 100 people from all walks of life visiting, many for the first time. The food, relaxed atmosphere, talks and venue went down so well the committee have decided to hold this second event.
