Event description: Do you have a preschool child with autism and would like a free training course to understand them better?
Understanding your Preschool child with autism is a free course for family carers of pre-school children with autism or being assessed for autism.
The course takes place over three sessions:
- Friday 17 June 2016 – Introduction to autism.
- Friday 1 July 2016 – Developing communication.
- Friday 15 July 2016 – Understanding and managing behaviour.
Childcare is available for parents who already attend the Child Development Centre’s Friday morning Communication and Interaction group and may be available for other families. Please contact us to discuss your child care needs.
Autism West Midlands is funded by Shropshire Council and Shropshire’s Clinical Commissioning Group so places are only available to family carers living in in the Shropshire Council area.
