Event description: Today is your opportunity to go to the first Touch 2 See Book Club at the Library at the Lantern Shrewsbury. The Book club uses resource packs created by award winning charity Living Paintings. They make special versions of pictures with raised surfaces (called thermoforms) that come to life when fingers feel them. A sound recording directs the fingers over the raised image, describing the features of the picture & telling the stories of the image.
This is a good opportunity to meet new people & make new friends. The club is free & open to all, so please come along. Tell your friends & anyone who may be interested.
