Event description: Kicking off Spring 2017 with a new “Me & You” project. Not too early to book that place & avoid disappointment by leaving it to the last minute!

‘Me & You’ is a Big Lottery funded project aimed at young people between the ages of 15 to 25 with a physical disability, special need and/or learning difficulty, providing the opportunity to discover new interests and learn new skills by engaging in positive outdoor activities in the calm, tranquil environment of the Albrighton Moat and Gardens. 

The project is aimed at teaching basic outdoor practical skills in horticulture, conservation & wildlife and angling in order to build self esteem and confidence. It is an opportunity for young people to discover new interests and learn new skills at a time when they are starting to think about their options for the future.

So if you have a learning difficulty, special need or physical disability?
And  you would like to learn something new? read on-

You are being invited you to take part in a 6 week (6 one day sessions) to build confidence and self esteem through the teaching of outdoor activities.
Throughout the course, you will have opportunity to learn new skills, gain qualifications, take on leadership roles, make new friends & have fun plus plan your future.

This course takes place on the following Wednesdays:

  • 1st March
  • 8th March
  • 15th March 
  • 22nd March
  • 29th March
  • 5th April 

There is No cost for this one day a week, 6 week cost. Bring a packed lunch and warm, outdoor clothing.
