Event description: The Enabling Church Course is a flexible eight-session course exploring how to enrich church life through sharing mission and ministry together with disabled people. Produced collaboratively by national Christian disability-focused organisations this course promotes:
- A theological understanding of disability
- Awareness of resources available
- Development of a local disability-inclusive initiative
This TASTER evening will introduce the topics covered, and discuss how local people and organisations can participate. Churches are encouraged to nominate two members to serve as their disability church ambassadors who, along with others, can attend the full course.
