Event description: Help us to tackle homelessness in Telford & Wrekin by supporting Stay Telford.
Air System Controls are helping Stay Telford organise events for their Telford Homeless Action Week (THAW) which runs from 7th to 14th June.
Stay Telford work with over 150 16-35 year olds within the Telford and Wrekin area to provide housing to young homeless people, helping them to gain confidence, and build independence.
We have teamed up with local football academy Youngstars to organise a football tournament and family fun day to raise money and awareness for Stay Telford.
At the event we have a wide variety of activities for children of all ages and entertainment acts throughout the day. We have free football coaching, inflatables, clowns, face painting, raffles and stalls around AFC Telford.
There will be plenty going on around the tournament including arts & crafts, face painting, a speed challenge and free sessions from Telford Chin Woo on self defence, tai chi, kungfu, sanshou, relay races etc. We have also invited local businesses/charities/groups to have stalls on the day so there’s plenty to see and do – Please come along and support this event.
