Event description: Join Wendy and Emma from Autism West Midlands at Wood Lane Nature Reserve (just south of Ellesmere) for a walk, some Bush craft, a campfire, learn about bog bodies and a possible guided visit to the quarry.

Please meet at the Nature Reserve Car park on the Colemere Road, Ellesmere, SY12 0HY

Cost: £10 per person

This event is for Young people 12 – 17 years old (Up to 18th Birthday) must be living in the Shropshire Council Area and be registered with the council’s “All In” Short Breaks Service to take part.

Event description: After last year’s popular concert, Songs from the Shows, we decided to follow it up this year with Songs from the Movies. This will be performed by the choirs and soloists of Ellesmere College and our old friends, the Porthywaen Silver Band.

The profits from this show will be in aid of Age UK North Shropshire Supporters and St. Mary’s Church, Ellesmere.

Tickets £7.50 (includes free glass of wine)

Event description: A new Night Time Social Club for adults with learning disabilities will launch at The Flamingo Lounge, Comrades Club, Victoria Street Ellesmere SY12 0AB.

Entrance is £5 per person, Carers and Support Workers there is no fee. Plans are being made to have a Disco, Skittles, Bingo and other activities. This new Social Club will take place on Tuesday’s 3rd September and 1st October. There will be a licensed bar.
