During term time Shrewsbury town in the Community give opportunity to children and young adults with Cerebral Palsy to play football. Whether the players are ambulant or are supported by frames or crutches they adapt the session to meet individuals needs yet challenge them to improve week by week.

Sessions take place on Monday (Term time only) at Shrewsbury Sports Village, Sndorne Road, Shrerwsbury SY1 4RQ from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

Cost is £2.00 per session.

ShrewsAbility sessions are specialised disability sports programmes which run every week.  Each session caters to the needs of multiple disabilities.

Coaches deliver sessions specifically aimed at those who suffer from Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, along with PAN football which is an all inclusive session for those with any kind of disability. Disability Rights UK have partnered with University of Birmingham to conduct a study into how they produce knowledge and information about physical activity aimed at disabled people.

Get Yourself Active & the University of Birmingham want to find out what you think about how information about physical activity and sport is presented to people with a disability.

If you wish to take part, you can do so in your own home and it takes roughly 15 minutes of your time and you get the opportunity to receive a £15 Amazon Voucher and may even be randomly selected to receive £100
