New social group for those with physical disabilities

A new social group has been started at the Trinity Centre, Meole Brace for people with physical disabilities.

The group is meeting every Wednesday 10.30 – 3.30  and Friday 12.30 – 3.30 in the Fiwila Room at the Trinity Centre Meole Brace.  Activities are part of the attraction and will include a whole range of different things depending on the preferences of the groups.  So far they have  tried Extend exercises to music,  Art, & Boccia which is a form of indoor bowls, but the group organisers are keen to offer other things such as pottery, computers and model making, and really want suggestions from those attending with other ideas.

Costs are shared and new members are very welcome.

The Costs if 6 people attend are;

  • For a day with an activity AM & PM and including
    Tea/Coffee Costs £26 per person
  • A half day 12.30-3.30 with an activity and including
    Tea/Coffee costs £13 per person

Bring your own lunch to enjoy together.  Carer support & transport is not included, if
you need support, please bring your carer.   All rooms at this venue are fully accessible
