Singin’ in the Rain-Caught up in the transition from 1920s silent film to ‘talkies’, two silent movie stars Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) and Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen) face a dilemma. Lina’s voice is too bad for the talking film and needs to be dubbed. Who better to do the job than Kathy Selden (Debbie Reynolds)… the chorus girl who accidently threw a cake in Lina’s face at a party demonstrating the all new talking picture?
Choreographed and directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen, this lighthearted and treasured musical has some of Hollywood’s most loved songs including Make ‘Em Laugh, Good Morning and of course the legendary title-sake Singin’ in the Rain.
