Event description: Shropshire Memory Walk:
Memory Walk is a sponsored walk for all ages and abilities to unite together to raise money to defeat dementia. People of all ages and abilities join in, from grandparents to grandchildren, and even furry four-legged friends. We all walk together to celebrate loved ones affected by dementia, and raise money to reclaim the future.
The Shropshire Memory Walk will be on Sunday 17th September, with registration starting at 9.30 am, and the walk starting at 11 am. There is a 1 mile and 3 mile route, so options available for all the family, from the youngest to the oldest. There will be music and refreshments available. You need to register to walk beforehand – no one will be able to register on the day.
