Event description: The Management Committee have decided to hold a separate Annual General Meeting, when you will be able to hear about all our work over the last 12 months. We will also present our accounts for approval.

AGM’s can often be an “off put” for Members so our plans is to have one key speaker to enthuse and inspire. We are very pleased to announce that “key” speaker is Sue Bott CBE
Sue who was born in Shrewsbury now lives in London, She has had a visual impairment since birth & has been active in the disability movement in the UK for many years. Her current job is Director of Policy Services & Development at Disability Rights UK, which is a merger of the National Centre for independent Living (which She was Chief Executive), Disability Alliance. Prior to this Sue spent several years working for Shropshire Disability Consortium.

Pleased to announce SID (Shropshire Inclusive Dance) will be coming along to do a short presentation. Please be there to welcome them.

There will be opportunity to network before, during & after the meeting. We will have a raffle to help towards our meeting costs.
