Event description: This is a very important meeting that we hold annually as it gives opportunity to hear about our work over the last 12 months, do the essentials of approving our Annual Accounts and elect who you want to serve on your committee.

We are looking forward to welcoming guest speakers:

• Tom Kane with his hearing dog Harley who will tell us about his work among the deaf & hard of hearing including what we need to be aware of, lip reading, importance of having the right equipment & more.

• Amanda White-TelfordUCare Carers Champion will tell us about her work with AFC Telford & how they are working to enable carers & the cared for have a good experience at the Bucks Head.

We welcome Kim Fawkes from Independent Support. They have booked a stand to promote their work. Independent Support is a programme to support young people and their parents/carers during the new Education, Health and Care assessment and planning process. They cover both Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.

We have a quarterly raffle with really good prizes-just £1 a strip gives you a chance to win & helps us to meet meeting costs etc.

Tea/Coffee/Cakes & biscuits from 10.30 am to 11 am as well as during the meeting. 

We have Sign Language Interpreters (BSL) at all our meetings.
