Set up as the Shropshire Association of Senior Citizen Forums (SASCF), today’s Shropshire Seniors has forums in Albrighton, Bridgnorth, Market Drayton, Shrewsbury, South Shropshire and Wem & Whitchurch. Each forum is represented on the Shropshire Seniors management committee which meets monthly in Shrewsbury. These forums discuss practical issues, including health, housing and transport, as well as organising out-and-out fun meetings! We are kindly supported by the Big Lottery Fund.
Shropshire Seniors started 10 years ago & is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 1105512) Be a member, which is FREE. We help to reduce isolation among older people. We organise regular meetings and speak up for the over-50s to make sure our voice is heard.
Shropshire Seniors works with other voluntary groups & like minded organisations to represent the views & aspirations of all older people in Shropshire & to build a county “voice” for older people.
