Shrewsbury & District MS Society and Shropshire Citizens Advice (CAS) have joined in partnership to provide a dedicated advice service to anyone affected by MS in the Shrewsbury & District Group area. This is a free service funded by the Shrewsbury and District MS Society.

Anyone eligible for the service will have exclusive access to a Citizens Advice Shropshire Advisor on dedicated days of the month. You ca get help on a whole range of subjects including benefits, housing, family & personal issues, debt and pensions.

Who can access this service?

This advice service from CAS is for anyone with MS and also there partners, other friends or relatives or a carer seeking help or information on behalf of someone affected by MS within Shropshire. Postcodes areas SY1 to SY12, TF13 and WV16

The person seeking advice will need to present a letter from your consultant, MS Nurse or GP which makes clear your MS diagnosis when you attend your first appointment.

How to make an appointment

To make an appointment for the MS service please call the dedicated referral telephone number at Citizens Advice Shropshire (CAS) on 01743 280019. You will speak to a member of the CAS Administration Team who will arrange a convenient appointment time.

Appointments are usually about 45 minutes long but can be adjusted or if necessary a second follow up appointment can be made.

CAS Advisor will be available for appointments on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month. The appointment venue will be:
