Event description: The exhibition now in its 9th year is planned and organised by The See and Hear Shropshire Partnership which includes Shropshire Council, Shropshire Voluntary Association for the Blind, the Rural Community Council, Vision Technology and Training and the Guide Dogs Association.
Every year there is some new to see and do. Plans this year include:
- eye screening by the Local Optical Committee
- hearing aid maintenance clinic, run by Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital’s Audiology department
- seminars and workshops
- ‘Let’s Talk Local’ Drop-in, by People2People
- Boccia tournament, delivered by Shropshire Disability Network
- sports taster sessions, including a climbing wall and gym, to promote health and wellbeing
- all-ability cycling on the cycle track, by Quest88
- over 60 exhibitors
- See and Hear information van
- Action Bus
- a practical and immersive guide dog demonstration by Andy Guiel and demonstration dog Natalie. Learn more about our wonderful partnerships and the challenges that people with visual impairment face on a daily basis

It is FREE to attend and there will be a free Shuttle Bus every half an hour from Shrewsbury Train Station to The Sports Village starting at 9.30 am
