Event description: Following the success of last year’s event, this is now an annual event which will take place on the first Saturday in July. This year’s event will take place on Saturday 06 July, at the Shrewsbury Education and Conference Centre on the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital site.
There will be a 5k Fun Run, starting at 09:30, and a variety of stalls and activities for the whole family from 10:00 – 14:00.
Confirmed attractions include:
- the Nerf Gun Arena,
- The Exotic Zoo, and
- the Rapid Relief Barbecue.
- There is a programme of music throughout the day and information stalls, craft stalls, a tombola and a raffle for a Barrow of Ale!
- Also in attendance will be appliances from other emergency services.
Shropshire Disability Network/Safe Place Shropshire will have a stand. We are holding a Toy Tombola and we have a few of our own items for sale. Pick up your leaflets and Safe Place “I need help” cards.
