We help millions of people affected by mental illness by challenging attitudes, changing lives. We believe a better life is possible for millions of people affected by mental illness. Since 1972 we have been challenging attitudes and changing lives, helping people living with conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders and more to recover a better quality of life. Rethink Metal Illness does not provide crisis support.
We provide information advice to everyone affected by mental health problems. When mental illness first hits you or your family, it can be hard to know who or what to trust. We give people clear, relevant information on everything from treatment and care to benefits and employment rights.
Services & Groups From psychological therapies and Crisis and Recovery Houses to peer support groups and housing services, we directly help thousands of people every year across England.
Campaigning nationally and locally for the support people need. We have changed the law to improve life for millions of people with mental health problems and we are changing public attitudes through the Time to Change campaign, which we lead in partnership with Mind.
