Event description: People across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid Wales are to be asked for their views on proposals to transform local hospital services when the NHS Future Fit public consultation was launched at the end of May 2018.
Final plans are now being put in place to widely promote the consultation. This includes an updated website, which will launch on 30 May. Here, people will be able to find out more, download the consultation documents and fill in an online survey. Paper copies of the consultation documents will also be made available at the Princess Royal and Royal Shrewsbury hospitals and at public and community venues across the region.
Throughout the 14-week consultation, there will be eight public exhibition events where people can drop in and meet doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff, ask questions and find out more.
In addition, representatives from the CCGs will be attending a range of meetings and events providing regular updates and answering questions. And there will be a range of pop-up style roadshows at community and public venues across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid Wales. All meetings and events will be publicised on the website www.nhsfuturefit.org and in the local media.
