Event description: POhWER is an organisation who support people in Telford and Wrekin to access direct payments to pay for their care and support needs. Direct payments can be allocated to an eligible individual following a Care and Support Assessment.
POhWER will support people through the whole process of managing their direct payment, from helping to understand what the individual will spend it on, often using it to pay someone to be their Personal Assistant, through to interviewing candidates and then supporting through the process of employing someone.
