Parking Issues in Shropshire-Tell Us…Was it parked or plonked!

As a result of letters from our members regarding increasing issues experienced when people park motor vehicles inappropriately ie blocking pavements, meaning your well being is put at risk by having to walk into the road. We would be pleased if you provide us with more information.

You told us at our meeting in December that this is an issue for many of you & you wanted us to discuss this at our Management meeting to decide what we can do at Shropshire Disability Network. As a result of our Management Committee discussions we will be supporting Andrea Jones Engagement Officer (Shropshire, Staffordshire and the Black Country) from The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association in raising concerns with relevant bodies. We recognise that Andrea can only raise  issues for those with visual impairment but it affects many people with all types of disability and long term conditions, so we will raise your concerns appropriately. It can also be a danger to the public as a whole.

SDN Management Committee would like you to share information with us on any concerns you have with regards to parking by emailing secretary@shropshire-disability.net or by completing the form found on this linkhttps://shropshire-disability.net/contact/ Photo’s would help, so if you can get any without putting yourself at risk, please let us have them. Note we will not & do not share personal details ie names, addresses & telephone numbers with third parties. If we felt it was necessary we would seek your permission first.
