Patients are being invited to share their views on the service they receive from the Orthotic Service at specialist hospitals. The Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH), would like patients to tell of the experiences they have received recently enabling them to further improve patient care and overall experience.
If you have been supplied with any orthotic devices within the last 6 weeks by Oswestry Orthopaedic Hospital which also serves RSH Shrewsbury and PRH Telford Orthotics departments the team is encouraging patients to complete a short questionnaire.
The questionnaire forms part of #QualityOrthotics Improvement collaboration work being undertaken by NHS orhotics across the country, run by NHS Improvement and funded by NHS England.
Jane Dewsbury, principle orthotist at RJ and AH told the local press “We’re calling on patients to help us celebrate what we do well but also to recognise what we can improve on.
Our patients’ feedback will help us in the future development of departments for the benefit of all patients both locally and nationally. This is an extremely important piece of work, the more feedback the better.
It is important that I stress this is an anonymous survey. The answers will not personally identify individuals and will not affect the relationship patients have with us. If patients are having any difficulties with their current treatment or orthosis, please contact us directly”.
