Songs for You! Continued:
Sessions are run by professional performer/singer
Kate Allan who has much experience & has been involved in
“Singing for the Brain” training.
Participants can be entertained by musicians & singers and also
take part-we have general warm-up for sounds & vocal exercises, rounds and rhymes, well known songs & sometimes we learn new ones.
We hope to build a strong and regular group that provides stability and a sense of belonging in a fun and creative environment.
The sessions aim to reduce isolation, concentrate on what people still have rather than what they have lost, reconnect them with themselves and their partner or carer, give meaning to their lives and promote general well being.
We always have time for tea, cake and a chat
During the session
