New Mobile (fully accessible) Library van joins Shropshire Fleet

Shropshire Libraries has welcomed a new mobile library to the fleet bringing the total in service to 3.

The Sabrina mobile library went into service earlier this month and replaces a vehicle whose lease had expired. It will visit areas around central Shropshire.

The new mobile is very light and airy and has a custom-built lift making it fully accessible. It carries the usual range of adult and junior books, talking books and also gives access to all stock in Shropshire Libraries via the e-library online catalogue.

Mobile libraries cover 280 stops across Shropshire as they bring libraries to communities and residents in the county.
