This week (18th to 24th November 2019) is National Safeguarding Adults Week!
Safe Place Shropshire will be having a stand at the Joint Safeguarding Conference at Barnabus Church, Shrewsbury on Wednesday 20th November to raise awareness of the scheme. The team (Jo, Ann and Ruby) hope it will be as successful as last year.
Keeping Adults Safe in Shropshire Board (KASiSB) have asked that we:
- Raise awareness of the issue facing adults who may be at risk of abuse and neglect and promote National Safeguarding Adults Week through our communication channels. Statistics show that having a disability increases the risk of domestic abuse!
