Event description: The memory café provides a gathering place for people with memory concerns or a diagnosis of Dementia or Alzheimer’s along with their carers or family members.
It is a relaxed, friendly environment enabling opportunity for people to relax and enjoy socialising, refreshments, activities, entertainment, access to information and resources and opportunity to expand networks to reduce risk of isolation.
We welcome everyone who is touched by memory difficulties in their life. This could be concerns about your own memory or if you support of care for a person who is experiencing memory difficulties.
It is not a formal care service or respite service. People that have care needs are welcome to join with their support worker or carer.
