Hosted on Zoom, this free information and support event is for anyone affected by bowel cancer. You’ll hear about how to cope with your cancer diagnosis, live better with bowel cancer and managing the side effects of treatment from experts including:
- Dr Philippa Kaye, a GP who writes a weekly column in Woman magazine and is regularly seen on ITV’s This Morning, will be sharing her personal experience of bowel cancer.
- Robin Muir, a Clinical Psychologist at Maggie’s Manchester, will talk about coping with a cancer diagnosis and tips to help manage the disease.
- Darren Fernandes, Clinical Fellow in Gastroenterology, will cover how to cope with the side effects of treatment.
It’s also an opportunity to hear from other people affected by bowel cancer and share your experiences with others. The event will end with a relaxing wellbeing session.
