Event description: LimbPower focus on getting inactive physically disabled people active. The LimbPower Games is designed to guide and support new amputees and individuals with limb impairments and individuals new to sport in how to take part and what the physical, psychological and social benefits are. The event is aimed at introducing people to sport and low level activity.
The LimbPower Games is the largest gathering of amputees in the UK. This flagship event is great for networking, meeting other amputees and individuals with limb impairments, trying sports and physical activity in a safe and relaxed environment.
We have a great line up for this year’s event with some new activities including sailing, cricket, wheelchair rugby, Park Run and shooting, as well as exercises and circuit training.
Why not Join fellow amputees for a weekend of sport and socializing at the 2016 LimbPower Games. This event is for new amputees and individuals with limb impairment or people who are just new to sport. This is a unique opportunity for you to participate in sport in a controlled, relaxed, supported and friendly environment among peers.
You do not need to be sporty to take part just willing to have a go.
