Disability Sport Strategy from CSW
As part of the newly created Disability Sport Strategy from CSW Sport I am looking to run some workshops designed to support local deliverers (clubs/facilities/schools/colleges etc.) with becoming more inclusive and being able to cater for participants with disabilities in their everyday sessions.
I therefore wanted to gather information from local deliverers on what areas you feel would be most beneficial for you to be offered for development i.e. what workshops/training would you ideally like to see offered by CSW Sport?
If you don’t know the kinds of workshops that are available, it doesn’t matter, I would simply like to hear from you to find out what areas of your work could be supported via CSW Sport offering you training/advice.
If you could please let me know your thoughts on this by the end of September that would be appreciated.

Deaf Positive Sports Project Launch
We would like to invite you to the Official Launch of our Deaf Positive Activities Sports Project on Thursday 26th September 2013 at Deaf Cultural Centre, Ladywood Road, Birmingham, B16 8SZ.
The event will consist of a taster sports themed Deaf Awareness session in the afternoon (registration is necessary for this session as places are limited). There will be lots of opportunity for networking, refreshments and a variety of fun activities for all with the official launch kicking off at 6pm.
I would be delighted if you could join us to find out more about the Sport England funded project that aims to support and encourage young deaf people to participate in sport, find out about opportunities for sports coaching, and upcoming plans for activities in the area.
We also have a number of VIP guests including athletes from this year’s GB squad fresh from the Deaflympics!
