The Albrighton Trust is a Charity that offers educational and recreational activities for disabled, and special educational needs children and young people in Shropshire. Their the objective is to of offer activities to enhance the lives and personal development of their visitors. The site offers an idyllic, tranquil environment and everyone is welcomed and supported whatever their capability.

The site near Wolverhampton provides a safe and secure environment that has wheelchair friendly pathways within 4 acres of natural and landscaped gardens that include a sensory area. Within the training and resource centre there are disabled toilets that include a personal care area with hoist.   To find out more click here

Short Breaks funding from Shropshire Council will enable the Trust to offer 13 activity sessions over the school holidays between May and October 2014.

Each session costs £4 per child.  Places are limited and must be booked in advance.

Sessions are supported by experienced staff and volunteers but those children with higher needs requiring 1:1 support will need to bring along their carer to support them in the session.

Priority will be given to children with a disability but if there are spare places these can be offered to siblings.
