Telephone: 0345 678 9044
Address: N/A Grange is closed.

Please note this Day Centre was closed in 2011 and was one of the first Day Centres to be “axed” by Shropshire Council. Amid must controversy and campaigning by “Users” it was decided to close it because Shropshire Council said “Personal Budgets meant fewer people were using it and people on Personal Budgets were finding better things to do with their budgets!”

The Grange Day Centre provides day opportunities to disabled people in Shropshire. The centre runs several short courses to enhance people’s skills. The courses cover areas such as music, art, exercise and gardening. The centre offers ICT training for visually impaired people on a one to one or one to two tuition basis.

The course teaches basic computer skills and also advises users on how to adapt their computer settings to meet their needs, as well as any equipment needed. These skills will enable disabled people to access the work place or college and be able to adapt computer equipment in these settings to meet their needs. The Transcription Service which is also sited at the Grange Centre provides transcription into Braille, large print, audiotape and disk.
