Heulwen Trust runs two (adapted for some impairments) canal boats to offer disabled people trips on the Montgomery Canal mostly for groups during the week. Each boat can take up to 12 passengers including carers.
Recognising Disabled Access Day they are running a Free boat trip on Sunday 12th March at 12 noon from Heulwen Wharf, Welshpool, SY21 7DJ. this will be a 2 hour trip.
If there is demand they can do additional journeys on Sunday or indeed on Saturday. So that they can assess numbers please book at info@heulwentrust.co.uk .
