Event description: Join us for a great day out for all ForgeFest as we celebrate the diversity of Telford through the Arts
Current programme
Saturday 19th October
- 10 am-12.00 Craft in the morning: A range of craft ‘have a go stands’ for all ages. Including drawing; sewing, crafting, papercraft and much more. – first 50 reserving their place will receive a breakfast roll voucher (egg or bacon). Bring your voucher, pick up your token at the welcome desk – and collect your complimentary breakfast
- 12-4 pm Craft in the afternoon: Lots of ‘have a go’ activity for all ages. including drawing, childrens craft, papercraft, sewing. Full list of activities at the tables coming soon; First 50 reserving afternoon sessions will receive cream tea voucher to use between 2-4pm on the day.
- 10-5 pm Throughout the day we will have an array of song, dance and spoken word – celebrating the diversity of Telford
- 5-7.30 pm Join us for For the Record – a meeting to talk about Telford Bands, chat about local gigs you have been to past and present
- 8 pm – 11 pm Live music 5.00 a ticket and includes supper ; Shropshire/Telford band listing to be shared soon
Sunday 20th October
- 12-1.30 pm Join us for our biggest Community Soup Social – join the table with others and enjoy a bowl of freshly made soup and bread (pay as you want)
- The lunch will be followed by live music – finishes at 2 pm.
We will also have exhibitions of local art, craft, photography and poetry exploring the diversity of Telford
