In December last year, the Commission launched a formal inquiry into the chronic lack of accessible and adaptable housing available for disabled people in Britain. The inquiry will reveal whether disabled people’s rights to live independently are being fulfilled across England, Scotland and Wales.
We are now calling for evidence and want disabled people and relevant organisations to share their experiences of housing and tenancy support provision with us. We will publish our findings and recommendations in early 2018.
