If you access adult social care in Shropshire or care for someone who does then your help is needed!

Adult social care is the term used to describe the help adults need to live as well as possible with any illness or disability they may have. It can include help with things like washing, eating, dressing, getting out & about as well as keeping in touch with family and friends. 

Adults who may need extra care and support include:

  • Older people
  • people with learning disabilities
  • physically disabled people
  • people with mental health problems
  • people with drug and/or alcohol issues
  • carers
