Event description: This workshop is one of our Learning Together Family Workshops and is FREE to family Carers Living in Telford and Wrekin. The day will be friendly, informal and supported by Admiral Nurses. Our morning session will be about Understanding Dementia. Staying well-nutrition and hydration. and Therapeutic Touch-using hand and shoulder massage. The afternoon session will include Safe Moving and Handling -maintaining mobility, Managing unusual behaviour and Practical Activities for you and your loved one to enjoy. Places must be pre booked by calling Julia on 01743 237 888 Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. Transport costs can be reimbursed and we can arrange respite care enabling you to attend but please arrange this when booking.
