Deafplus is a registered medium-sized charity and company limited by guarantee working to encourage integration and equality between deaf and hearing people in all areas of life:

- Information, Advice and Guidance: An information, advice and guidance service for Deaf and hard of hearing people living in Birmingham. Surgeries and workshops offer free personal and practical support on a range of issues including:Workshops and community talks
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Attendance Allowance (AA), Personable Independence Payments (PIP)
- Income/Support/Universal Credit
- Tax credits
- Housing – including Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit and applying for housing
- Access to council services
- Advice on access to legal services
- Providing advocacy support at meetings with other agencies
- Signposting to other agencies
- Internet cafe – Internet access and web-based information
