Event description: This day celebrates local cultural diversity. Cultural diversity of all kinds, not limited to ethnic and national diversity. It includes alternative lifestyles, disability, sexual orientation, faiths and beliefs, age and so on.
This day is about enhancing day-to-day visibility and inclusion by celebrating differences as positive; recognising and valuing the unique contributions of each. It challenges prejudice and discrimination through musical and other performances and is always lively, informative, well-attended – and fun!
