PCAS & CHUMS Befriending Service has found a new home in Oswestry’s historic Old Station Building. Located on Oswald Road, the recently renovated landmark provides prominent location and beautiful surrounding for the Shropshire based charity and Befriending project. Whilst PCAS has been running for almost 20 years, CHUMS secured Big Lottery funding in July 2013 and has had a fantastic start, successfully matching volunteers and clients across the county. As part of this exciting project they are working in partnership with Qube to provide an expanded shopping service and monthly social groups. Staff are more than happy with the move – due to their close proximity to local shops – handy for nipping out for cake at break and lunch time!
