Chief Executive Janet Radford is looking forward to the event. “We are hoping to raise funds to help support our low fee service. At a time when an ever increasing proportion of the population will experience mental health difficulties we need our funding more than ever – and when services like ours are delivered by professional volunteers each pound goes a lot further. Of course music and dancing helps to lift mood and improve mental well-being – so by coming along people will not only support our charity but help themselves at the same time”.

Confide Counselling Service is a Shrewsbury charity based in the Roy Fletcher Centre and has been providing quality counselling for almost 30 years. The organisation provides professional, affordable counselling face to face or by telephone. Qualified counsellors support clients aged 11 and over suffering from mild to moderate mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, bereavement, stress, low confidence, current or past abuse or workplace difficulties. Fees are on a sliding scale dependant on income and personal circumstances.

If anyone would like to buy a ticket for the Ceilidh, or to find out more about how Confide could help them or a loved one, they can call the office on 01743 351319 or look at the website www.confide.org.uk .
