Event description: Wem Town Hall is proud to be presenting to be participating in a pilot scheme to be offering access to the arts for those suffering from dementia & memory loss.
Dementia friendly screenings are specifically tailored to meet the needs of customers with dementia. This will include a lower sound level, improved and clearer way signing and specially trained volunteers on hand to assist. There will also be an interval at each showing with tea/coffee and biscuits on offer. This will offer a chance to socialise with other patrons and to discuss and inform the film programme for future screenings. Tickets are only £4 per head and include a tea or coffee during the interval. Carers are free. Customers are reminded that Wem Town Hall do not provide pastoral care at these screenings.
