Carousel is an award-winning charity supporting people who have learning disabilities to achieve their artistic ambitions. We believe that learning disabled artists make a vital contribution to the world we live in; they are central to decision making and delivery of the work produced.
By developing the creative skills of individuals and groups, in long and short-term projects, enables our artists to become leaders in their field and gain recognition for their work.
Carousel has a national and international reach through touring bands, Oska Bright Film Festival and Creative Minds. It has been an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation since 2015.
Whilst many of our artistic activities are programmed for the years ahead, there are ways to get involved with our work as an artist or volunteer, as audience or as a supporter.
