Event description: Building Carer Friendly Communities is the theme for this year. This year the theme is to continue to build Carer Friendly Communities. Communities which
support carers to look after their loved ones well, while recognising that they are individuals
with needs of their own
Carers Centre at Telford are putting on the following events:
- Sunday 5th June at 4 pm Afternoon Tea
Sainsbury’s are a sponsor of Carers Week and are kindly offering Adult Carers and their cared for free tea/coffee and cakes in their Telford Store. Limited numbers, booking required. Please call 01952 240209
- Wednesday 8th June Pamper Evening Pamper Evening 5 pm -8 pm The Glebe Centre, Glebe Street, Wellington Limited spaces, booking essential. Adult carers only. Contact: us on 01952 916097 or 01952 240209
- Carers Week Walk: Thursday 9th June Come and join us for a walk around Granville Country Park. Meet at 10.15 am. No booking required, meet at Asda Donnington.Phone 01952 240209 for more information.
- Thursday 9th June Quiz Night with Fish and Chip Supper 7.30pm until 10 pm at Dawley British Legion. Join us for a fun quiz night and fish supper at Dawley British Legion club on the Thursday of Carers Week. Adult Carers and cared for welcome.
