Think Local Act personal ( TLAP) is running a survey to find out how much of a difference the Care Act has made in the experience of people with care and support needs, and carers.
Please click on this link for more information and to complete the survey:
This is why they are doing the survey:
Thank you for taking part in this survey. We want to find out how recent changes in the law on care and health services are affecting people who need care or support, and carers. We will use this information to help make improvements.
#The survey is for people aged 18 years or older who need care or support, or carers of any age. Care and support means extra help to manage your life and to be independent.
We want to hear from you if you have a disability, a long term illness or condition, or poor mental health.
We want to hear from carers too – people who provide unpaid care or support to a family member, friend or neighbour. Please tell us about the support you need for yourself as a carer. You can also help the person you care for to tell us about their own care and support.
The survey is available to complete until 4th October 2016. After this we will be looking at what you have told us.
The survey should take about 10 minutes, depending on how much you want to say. If you need help, just ask someone in a support role – a carer, friend or family member, or personal assistant.
