Event description: About the film: In the summer of 1983, intellectually precocious 17 year old Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet) spends time with his family at their 17th-century villa in Lombardy, north Italy. When he meets Oliver (Armie Hammer), a doctoral student working as an intern for his father, he becomes captivated by him and they share a summer together that will change them forever.

Call Me By Your Name is a touching film about a young gay man coming to terms with his sexuality and falling in love. It’s one of the best films about coming to terms that I have ever seen The young man, Elio, has very supportive parents and there are some wonderfully touching scenes between Elio and his father at the close of the film. It’s set in Italy, has an Italian director and the film takes it’s time. It is really well-acted.
