Shropshire Disability Network Management Committee hope you have Thursday 8th December 2016 reserved in your diary & that you will join us for our last meeting this year.
The meeting is at The Learning Centre, AFC Telford United, Watling Street, Wellington TF1 2TU ( Click Here For Details ) From 10.30 am to 11 am for tea, coffee etc will be available before the start of the meeting at 11 am.
After brief reports we welcome our first guest Kelda Wood who many of you will know from the blogs she has written for us of her journey to Rio. Kelda also runs her own charity “Climbing Out” as well as working at Battleback. We are very pleased that in an exceptionally busy year for Kelda, she is now able to join us as guest speaker.
After refreshments, the chance to network & an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets (prizes food hampers), why not bag a bargain from our stall ie our Christmas Cards & Hand made items made by members will be on sale before we welcome our second speaker.
Sara Giles from West Mercia and Warwickshire Police is the Crime Prevention Design Advisor for Telford & Wrekin. She is the first female Crime Prevention Advisor for our local police. She will be able to advise on safety and security measures in the home.
We have Sign Language Interpreters (BSL) at all our meetings.
