Blue Badge Parking Statistics Released

Today (Thursday 15th February 2018) The annual Blue Badge statistics have been released tand again show that only a small number of local authorities take enforcement of the scheme seriously. The annual Blue Badge survey, completed by local authorities in England, collates data on whether authorities have a policy for prosecuting misuse of the Blue Badge scheme and the number of prosecutions that occurred between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2017.

Our Chairperson was invited by BBC Radio Shropshire to talk about Blue Badge parking on this mornings programme. Since then we have had a number of people contact us to ask how to report misuse of the blue badge scheme. Here are the details of where to report it.
